How Blacklight works
Every Roblox development server keeps its own list of people who scammed someone. Those lists do not travel, so the same person moves to the next server and starts over. This is one shared record instead.
A blacklight shows what ordinary light misses. That is the whole idea: someone looks clean the moment they walk into a new server, and this is where the evidence already on file becomes visible. It is a record of evidence, not a list of enemies. Nothing appears here because people dislike someone, and no amount of agreement puts an account on it.
The four tiers
A tier is assigned by a moderator, never calculated from how many reports an account has. Counting reports would reward whoever can organise the most people to file them.
No approved reports on record. Absence of a report is not a guarantee of safety.
Approved reports exist. Take normal precautions: escrow, milestones, written terms.
Verified issue with corroborating evidence. Most studios decline to work with this account.
Severe or repeated verified harm. Do not engage, hire, or transact under any terms.
An account with no page here has not been cleared. It has no approved report on file, which is not the same thing.
What counts as evidence
A report needs something a stranger can evaluate. Screenshots of the agreement, the payment or the missing payment, and the conversation where it went wrong. Include usernames and timestamps in frame wherever you can.
Cropped screenshots with the names removed, secondhand accounts of what someone told you, and screenshots of other people making the same accusation are not evidence. Reports resting only on those are rejected.
A report with no attachments at all is flagged for the moderator before they read a word of it. It can still be approved when the account of events is specific and checkable, but the bar is higher.
Review before publication
Nothing you submit appears on the site when you send it. Reports and thread replies both sit in a moderator queue. A moderator reads the report, looks at the attachments, and either publishes it with a tier or rejects it.
You can see your own submission while it waits, marked as pending. Nobody else can, and neither can anyone who guesses the URL of an attachment.
Every decision a moderator makes is written to an audit log with their account and a timestamp.
Corroboration, not voting
There are no upvotes here, and there never will be. On a database of accusations a downvote is a way to bury a true report and an upvote is a way to promote a false one, and either makes the tier look crowd-sourced when a moderator is the one who assigns it.
What exists instead is corroboration. If the same thing happened to you personally, you can attach your own account of it with your own proof. It goes through the same review queue as everything else, and once approved it adds to the count shown on the report.
One corroboration per person per report. Agreeing with something you did not experience firsthand is rejected, and so is corroborating a report about yourself or one you filed.
If you are the one named
Sign in with the Roblox account the report is about. The site checks the account ID against the report, so proving it is you takes nothing more than signing in.
Your reply posts immediately without waiting in the queue, and it pins above every other reply on that report. Leaving an accusation live while holding the answer back for review is not defensible, so the site does not do it.
If a report is factually wrong rather than merely unwelcome, say so in your reply with whatever contradicts it. Moderators can and do remove reports that do not hold up.
Limits and abuse
Three reports per account per day, twenty replies per day. Reports from Roblox accounts younger than thirty days are published only after extra scrutiny, since alt accounts are the usual way a rejected report comes back.
Filing a knowingly false report is grounds for a ban and, if the pattern is deliberate, for a listing of your own.
What this is not
This site is a record of community reports reviewed by community moderators. It is not a legal finding, not a Roblox moderation action, and not affiliated with Roblox Corporation. A listing here carries no weight on the Roblox platform itself.
If you were scammed out of real money, report it to Roblox and, where the amount justifies it, to your payment provider. This record helps the next developer avoid the same person. It cannot get your money back.
